Armed Forces Remembrance Day Scholarship Awards

Every year, the Foundation joins with Nigeria and the Nigerian Armed Forces to celebrate Armed Forces Remembrance Day on January 15th in awarding scholarships to children of deceased armed forces personnel who lost their lives in service to the Nation.

The University Access Scheme

The Foundation recognises that in the various communities across Nigeria are young, bright minds who are deserving of university education but do not possess the wherewithal to pursue their dreams in that regard. The University Access Scheme has been established as a means to help these young adults achieve their dreams.

This initiative of the Foundation is aimed at improving educational infrastructure in rural communities such as establishing Early Learning Centres and refurbishing Schools and Basic Education Institutions.

Annual Report

COMMITted to EDUCATION for rural communities.

2017 was a fulfilling year for the Foundation. With the help of our donors, we were able to achieve majority of our objectives going into the year.

20 junior and senior secondary students were awarded grants under the 2017 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Scholarship Awards; 40 junior school teachers across 19 local governments of Nasarawa State were trained on classroom management and activity-oriented lessons and students of universities in the state were identified for awards under the University Access Scheme.
