On 15th January 2020, the Charles Bebeye Ndiomu Foundation awarded scholarships to 21 children of some of the deceased rank and file of the Nigerian Armed Forces to commemorate the 2020 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.

This was the 7th edition of the awards given away by the Foundation since its launch in 2014. In announcing this year’s awardees, a complete list of which have been published on the website of the Foundation, Trustee Manager to the Foundation, Vetiva Trustees Limited, thanked the Foundations’ donors and partners for their continued support of the Foundation in spite of the challenging environment, made even more challenging by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Orji stated that the Foundation wished to especially commend the Nigerian Armed Forces for its continued co-operation and assistance in the dissemination of information as well as the collation and verification of the recipients and expressed the Foundation’s appreciation to the various Divisions of the Armed Forces involved in ensuring that the Foundation’s objective for the Awards is achieved from year to year.
